Galaxy PLA | Featuring PLA PRO SELECT Glint Gray

In a Galaxy far far away, lives Kylo Ren, but unlike the Dark Kylo Ren on the big screen, this one, which is modeled by the very talented Vedran, who goes by Wekster, looks fabulous in PLA Galaxy Glint Filament.

FilamentOne’s PLA Pro Select Glint Gray is part of the PLA Glint Series filament manufactured in USA under a strict quality control. Its metallic look is achieved thanks to glitter-like additives embedded in the filament. Apart from the sparkly look, they also help blend the layer lines making them much less visible, giving you a smooth looking glittery print.

Also designed by Wekster is this very elaborate model of Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy titled “Groot of thrones”. It does require you print it with some supports, especially on the chin and some overhanging branches, but the PLA Glint Filament does a good job in hiding those initial layer lines of the support interface.

And finally, while not exactly in a galaxy far far away, but in alternate universe, Batman decided to give up crime fighting and instead indulge in some all-you-can-eat buffets. Enter FatMan, also designed by Wekster. A very simple model to print without supports required. This model gives you a very clear picture of how smooth the finish is when it comes to clean walls and surfaces as it completely hides the layer lines.
